Michael Herrera D.O.
Dr. Michael Herrera was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. He grew up in Mesa, Arizona and graduated from Westwood High School with honors. After completing his undergraduate at Arizona State University, Dr. Herrera went on to medical school at the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. After earning his Medical Degree he went on to complete his Family Practice Residency at Phoenix Baptist Hospital where he was Chief Resident. He is board certified and a member of the Arizona Academy of Family Physicians as well as the American Osteopathic Association.
Dr. Herrera and his wife reside in Gilbert with their 7 children. In his spare time he enjoys playing sports, doing yard work, and coaching his kids sports teams. He and his family enjoy spending time together swimming, going to the movies, quad riding, and going to Disneyland.
From an early age Dr. Herrera has always had a desire to make the community a better place by caring for the sick. This desire has led him to work hard in his studies to be able to bring the best care to his patients. His heart is full of compassion and a true desire to put the patient’s needs first.
Dr. Herrera enjoys practicing all types of medicine with a special interest in Pediatrics and Urgent Care medicine. “I am very excited to be able to open a practice here in Gilbert and look forward to serving you and other members in the community”
Kody Smith M.D.
Having grown up in San Diego, CA, Dr. Kody Smith has always enjoyed surfing. Feeling comfortable in the water lead him to experiment with Triathlons in college, which he still enjoys. Other hobbies include playing the guitar, reading, working on cars, and spending time with his family. He’s also a Flight Doctor in the Air Force Reserve, and volunteers at a non-profit medical clinic.
Being the type of person with diverse interests and always wanting to learn new things, family medicine fit Kody’s personality well. Special interests include Pediatric, Geriatric, Woman’s Health, Wound Care, Diabetes, and Preventative Medicine. The opportunity to care for males and females from all age groups, and work with all systems of the body, allows him to provide quality care to a large population and enjoy the long term relationships family medicine offers.
He is very excited to be a part of the Complete Care Medicine team and the excellent health care they offer the community.
Jenna Hilton PA-C
Jenna Hilton was born in Des Moines, Iowa and grew up in a nearby suburb, Ankeny, Iowa. She moved to Arizona and attended Arizona State University where she received her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and graduated magna cum laude. She worked in Cardiac Rehabilitation at Scottsdale Healthcare before deciding to become a Physician Assistant. She attended A.T. Still University and received her Master’s of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is a member of the Arizona State Association of Physician Assistants as well as the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She feels honored to be a PA and is involved in the state and national associations. Her interests include cardiovascular health and exercise, as well as dermatology.
Jenna lives in Phoenix with her husband and two children. In her spare time, Jenna enjoys traveling, yoga, and hiking with her dog, Baxter.
Jenna feels very fortunate to be a member of the Complete Care Medicine staff and working with Dr. Herrera. She believes our providers aim to exemplify compassion and integrity as well as provide exceptional care to each of our patients.
Trent Blake PA-C
Trent Blake was born and raised in rural Safford, AZ. He attended Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ and studied Sports Medicine. After working with Pima Community College in Tucson and Chandler-Gilbert Community College sports teams, he attended Physician Assistant School at Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ. There he received advanced training and earned his Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies. He is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and licensed in the state of Arizona. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Arizona State Association of Physician Assistants.
Trent is married and has 3 children. He currently makes his home in Gilbert. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, camping, sports, and golf. Prior to coming to Complete Care Medicine he has been working in a family practice in Tempe, AZ. His medical interests are in orthopedics and musculoskeletal conditions, smoking cessation, addiction medicine, minor surgical procedures as well as diabetes. Trent has always had a passion for helping people, but feels most successful when able to teach people how to help themselves.
Janet Wildemuth PA-C
Janet Wildemuth grew up in Denver, Colorado and attended the University of Colorado in Boulder. She got her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and also played soccer for the university. She also played semi-pro soccer. After college, she lived in Miami Beach, FL where she worked as a personal trainer for several years. She moved to Arizona and attended A.T. Still University and received her master’s of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is a member of the Arizona State Association of Physician Assistants (ASAPA) as well as the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Janet is also ASAPA’s awards chair.
Her medical interests include dietary health and exercise, natural medicine as well as behavioral health. She is passionate about helping people and gets fulfillment out of seeing people improve their life and feel better. She believes the future of medicine is in preventative care so therefore emphasizes patient education and people learning to help themselves.
When Janet is not working she enjoys taking yoga, cooking, working out, going to concerts and hanging out with her dog Lucy.
Brittney Gray PA-C
Brittney Gray was born in Orange, California and grew up in southern Orange County. She moved to Arizona and attended University of Arizona where she received her undergraduate and graduate degree in Physiological Sciences. She worked as a Anatomy and Physiology professor and EMT prior to attending A.T. Still University for Physician Assistant School. She is passionate about sports medicine, exercise physiology, cardiac health, and working with members with developmental and intellectual disabilities and veterans. She currently volunteers as the clinical director of health promotions for the Special Olympics.
Brittney lives in Gilbert with her daughter. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her daughter, going to the gym, paintball, sports, outdoors, traveling, and movies. She is very excited to join an amazing team at Complete Care Medicine and looks forward to providing excellent care to each of our patients.
